How did YOU use your Al’s doubles?

I had fun last week with Albertson’s double coupons. I had a total of nine, so I decided to do 3 different transactions.

I did self-check with the first two transactions. The first one was four boxes of Velveeta Shells and Cheese (I know, I know, gross) but I had 4 $1 coupons from the Kraft blitz not long ago. Total was $10 – $3 in-store promotion = $7. Minus 4 $1 coupons and 3 $1 doubles…GRAND TOTAL = $0!

The second one was 2 64 ounce bottles of Welch’s grape juice and one Kraft mayo. I had snagged 2 Welch’s juice coupons from another store during another shopping trip, which reminds me: I am a PEELIE HOUND. If there’s a peelie coupon on a product or some kind of tagged coupon, I’m gonna take it, and I advise you to do the same… Anyway, the total was $10 – $3 in-store promotion = $7. Minus 2 $1 Welch’s juice coupons, $1 Kraft mayo and 3 $1 doubles…GRAND TOTAL = $1.01!

So, basically $20 of groceries for $1.01. Ah, sweet doubles, how I love you.
