I guess summer is happening really soon, like NEXT WEEK! Why the confusion? It’s been about 53 degrees and raining for-ever, so it’s kinda hard to wrap my head around the kids being out of school NEXT WEEK!
I won’t miss getting up so early to see the kids off to school, stumbling around and gently nudging (yelling at) my children to get their shoes on and eat breakfast. Plus, the looser schedule gives my kids opportunities to try new things and have fun, educational experiences in camps.
HOWEVER, these camps can be expensive, which is why I was SO HAPPY to find this Summer Music Camp in Portland, taught in conjunction with a friend of mine, Michelle Collins. Here are the details:

*Grades 1st through 8th
*Monday through Thursday, June 27-30 from 9 a.m. to noon
