Seriously, we had too much fun making the rounds on Saturday. We only hit two stores, which included Value Village and Old Navy (with a 20% coupon). We spent around $100 total, and got the following:
Two pairs of jeans for husband
Seven pairs of pants/jeans for kids
Six shirts for kids
Snowpants (much bigger than necessary, but Oldest Son should fit into them by next year)
Two alarm clocks (Oldest Son uses one, and his broke…and whatever Oldest does, Youngest does too
)
One pair of shoes for Youngest
One small food processor
It was fun to decide on a target price and have the kids help us find good deals. Youngest was concerned about each items costing “too many dollars,” which was very cute. Then we discovered that Oldest cannot wear regular pants because he’s too tall and skinny – I’ll be on the lookout for deals at Old Navy especially for their SLIM pants.
Considering the quality of everything, not bad at all! And everyone had fun, and after we were done we had delicious samples at Costco.
